Week 5- Rice. 41-23 Loss

In their conference opener vs Rice, the Golden Eagles will wear all-black.  They will wear a sticker to honor Ray Guy on the back of their helmets.  In addition, quarterback Nick Mullens will wear #44 in the game to honor Guy.

Week 4- Appalachian State. 21-20 Win

The Golden Eagles will wear all-black in their second home game of the year.  They are 2-0 in this combination this year after winning none in it last year.

Week 3- at Alabama. 52-12 Loss

In their second game at an SEC school this year, the Golden Eagles wore the same combination they did the first time- Black/White/White(w/gold)

Week 2- Alcorn State. 26-20 Win

In their home opener win over Alcorn State, the Golden Eagles will wear the black helmets, black, jerseys, and black (with gold backs) pants.

After the win today, USM has won 2 of their last 3 games.  It's been awhile since we've been able to say that.
